UMD men's hockey has a great history. UMD boasts the most Hobey Baker winners, and among the top schools in nominees. This years nominees were announced today with 59 candidates up for the award.

New to town?  Just turned 18?  Haven't voted in the past and want to start?  There's lots of reason why you might be looking for your polling site.  The main thing is that you get out and cast your ballot, let your voice, your opinion be heard.  Here's info on where to vote and if needed, how you can get there.

We did it!  After weeks and weeks of voting and sharing, we have emerged #1 out of 64 towns vying for the honors.  We took on the beautiful town of Provo, UT and voting continued through Sunday.  With all said and done last night after the final votes were counted,  Duluth, MN won by a huge margin!

How can you say no to Blake Shelton?  This talented handsome man is looking for your vote as the ACM's Entertainer of the Year.  Just look as his accomplishments!  His songs are fantastic and we relate to them, we love his candid humor and expertise' on The Voice.  He's fun to look at and he and his wife Miranda Lambert are country's "couple" to watch.

I think I can speak for the Northland when I thank all of the participants of the this year's Christmas City of the North Parade.  It takes a lot of planning, time and creative sparks.  This year was over the top with float design, the marching bands displayed their hometown pride and Santa was the icing on the cake (glad he could take a little time away from all the toy making at the North Pole)!
