I thought these alternatives to cab rides were supposed to be cheaper, in Duluth, I don't know that they are.

Thanksgiving is a holiday full of traditions. One such tradition for many, known as "Blackout Wednesday", involves going out the night before to drink and party with friends.

The Uber Newsroom has announced that they are launching UberX and UberXL in Duluth Today.  This comes just a week after lyft began operating in Duluth.

In a Duluth City Council vote of 7-1, ridesharing companies like Uber and Lyft are going to be able to operate in Duluth.

Tonight the city council could vote today on a rideshare ordinance that would green light companies like Uber & Lyft to begin operating in Duluth.  If you've never used Uber or Lyft, you may not understand how it works.   How is it different from hiring a cab?  Here's a video to show exactly how Uber works.

According to a post by the Duluth News Tribune, ride services like Uber and Lyft could be coming to Duluth soon.
