I remember when the only thing to worry about on Halloween was whether your bag was big enough to carry all your candy and be careful not to trip on your costume when running through the yards in your mother's high heels.  Times have changed and prompted technology to get involved to keep your family safe and it's free until Halloween.

It's a little early, but I wanted to give you time to come up with an awesome costume that your kids will love and passes the safe-to-wear factor!   At least parents can feel comfortable that there is a safe SUPER fun place to trick or treat, at the Lake Superior Zoo's Boo at the Zoo!  Hurry, it's coming soon!

The internet exploded this week with news that a Fargo woman was going to hand out letters instead of candy to kids she deemed as "moderately obese," but is it all just a hoax?

Some Fargo, North Dakota kids out trick or treating this Halloween will be getting a surprise from one woman this year.  She has vowed to give kids she deems 'moderately obese' a letter for their parents rather than candy.

My friend Jen posted this picture on facebook.  Until I read her post, "We are making trick-or-treat bags out of old T-shirts at the neighborhood party on Sat.", I had no idea what it was.  What a fantastic weekend project with your kids, they'll be excited to use them on Thursday (Halloween) and it's environmentally friendly.
