Minnesota may be home to 10,000 lakes, but it's also home to lots of wildlife. And that includes some big cats, one of which just captured on a trail camera.
A trail camera can be an amazing thing to watch putting you right in the heart of what is happening in the wild, but sometimes it makes you wonder if these animals know those cameras are there all along.
The Voyageurs Wolf Project has released another video from their trail cameras that caught a den of 5 adorable wold pups who were peeking out of a den in the base of an ancient cedar tree. Thankfully these pups have a warm shelter in place to huddle together...

Local hunters have spotted individuals removing and tampering with their portable deer stands in the Duluth City hunt zone. They are asking for help identifying the people in the following photos.
This is really cool. Brian Kontio started taking photos 3 years ago of wildlife by setting up his own home made trail cameras. His point and shoot cameras hooked up to a motion sensor device, allows better than average trail camera images. These photos were all taken in The Northland, and it's stunning to see how many different rare animals were filmed.
