2021, are you listening?

Have you heard of a Christmas Pickle? Some families have this tradition at Christmas time. Here's how the tradition goes, and also where it came from.

Don't you think it's weird that once a year, we suddenly turn our attention from meteorologists to a groundhog to make the determination if we have six more months of winter or an early spring.  That has actually become a traditional holiday celebrated on February 2. Spike will be doing the honors in the City of Duluth again this year, but he isn't a groundhog.

The Northland is bursting with holiday spirit and so much to see for every person in the family.  Sights, sounds, taste, arts and motion come together in an array of holiday favorites that will become must see traditions for the whole family...

Three years ago, we had a problem we had to solve. Every family faces adversity, my family is no different. Through adversity comes change, and in our family, a tradition was started. I want to share that tradition with you.

I've seen a few Northland houses with colorful plastic Easter eggs hanging from trees in their yard.  I applaud their decorating efforts.  If I did that at my house, the neighborhood kids would take care of them as soon as I turned my back!!  Here's a German couple that has taken Easter egg tree decorating to a whole new level!
