Today they are known as classic toys, and they can bring in some good money. Maybe those old figures or decorations could be worth money. Who knows what someone would pay for something like that, the people that are lined up to look over your stuff.

I am continuing my quest to clean out my house of things that I don't need and I keep coming up on things that looks like they could be worth money. Some old magazines, some toys, my old Star Wars stuff. (I am not getting rid of that) I do want to see what some of the stuff is worth.

The latest thing gone viral over the web is the Minions in McDonald's Happy Meals appearing to swear.  I've looked at a few YouTube videos, and it's hard to deny what it sounds like.

Remember these cute little bugs?  The Cootie Bug game was one of my favorites as a child, along with Parcheesi, Yahtzee and Life! (not a fan of Monopoly due to my crappy math ability, although it did teach me to make change).   But, everybody had their favorites.  "Toys" is a national traveling exhibit of toys making stop at the MN History Center and has been breaking attendance records.

I have watched Toy Story, 1, 2, and 3. I had never figured that the movie is tightly wound into itself and that there could be a prequel. Jon Negroni has too much time on his hands, but he also figured out the clue that tells us how Andy's Mom is part of the whole story.

This is incredible.   Imagine the amount of time that it would take to assemble this working sniper rifle made completely out of legos.  Check it out!

My husband and I were talking about drinking through a straw last night and I said, "Remember those crazy straws?  The ones that were all curly? I use to love drinking my chocolate milk through it!"  He said, "YES!  Loved mine, EVERY kid had one of those growing up!"  Really?  Every kid?

Lego's are by far my favorite toy ever.  I'll admit, I still like to play with them!  So what could be better than a re-enactment of the Stratos jump then seeing it play out with legos.  It's pretty cool!

Riley, the clever little girl in this video, has an epiphany in a toy store that turns into a mini-rant about the way that companies “try to trick the girls into buying the pink stuff instead of the stuff that boys want to buy.” Looks like toy companies ought to give the youngsters they market their products to a little more credit.
