Fidget spinners have exploded in popularity this spring, becoming the must-have toy for kids in school. Toy stores and other vendors are having a hard time keeping them in stock, and kids are selling and trading them in school. What are these toys? Why are they such a big deal?

The Fidget Spinner is the hot new toy on the market and everyone is trying to get their hands on one. After some research I found a few places in Duluth that are selling the hot new toy.

These fidget spinners are a pretty hot item right now.  They sell out quick, but we were able to get our hands on one and try it out.  Honestly, I don't get what the big deal is.

I'm not totally frugal about everything, but for some reason I felt the need to start saving the dog toy monkeys that Bauer the Schnauzer has chewed holes in.  After 8 monkeys, a hedge hog and the worm started taking up too much space in the craft room, I decided it was time to open the sewing kit and repair.  Oh, one thing, I can't sew.

I grew up in the 1990's, and when I saw these commercials come on the TV, I had to have them.  See if any of these take you back.

Today they are known as classic toys, and they can bring in some good money. Maybe those old figures or decorations could be worth money. Who knows what someone would pay for something like that, the people that are lined up to look over your stuff.

I am continuing my quest to clean out my house of things that I don't need and I keep coming up on things that looks like they could be worth money. Some old magazines, some toys, my old Star Wars stuff. (I am not getting rid of that) I do want to see what some of the stuff is worth.

The latest thing gone viral over the web is the Minions in McDonald's Happy Meals appearing to swear.  I've looked at a few YouTube videos, and it's hard to deny what it sounds like.
