While aesthetic work is not completed, the lengthy Tower Avenue project in Superior has finally come to a close, opening the road to drivers to enjoy. Was the extra travel inconvenience through the summer months worth it? MIX 108's Tony Hart and B105's Ken Hayes hit the road to check out!

Crews had been working diligently to have Tower Avenue finished by last Friday.  While dining at a restaurant on Tower I noted that they were working well into the evening hours.  According to Chris Ouellette from the DOT, the construction is completed and after the date of Tower Avenue's opening had been postponed, the day is finally here.

The seemingly endless $13 million project is wrapping up, and Tower Avenue in Superior is ready to open once again.

Work is progressing on the massive renovation of Tower Avenue in downtown Superior.   Sewer work continues, sidewalk concrete is being poured, and groundwork for landscaping has begun.

For many of us, our summer will be inconvenienced with the latest road construction project scheduled to start today on Tower Avenue in Superior.
