A popular gift item sold exclusively at Walmart is being recalled. Hart Consumer Products, Inc. is voluntarily recalling their 18-guage 2-inch Brad Nailer due to "serious injury" concerns to the user or a bystander.

Father's Day is this Sunday, and you may be trying to think of a last minute gift idea. Over the years of being a dad myself, I can tell you there are some things that I always could use more of. I'll never turn away extra of any of these items...

One of the reasons I gave up on making home made potato salad was dealing with the potatoes.  I eventually ran across a microwave recipe that made it much easier and uses baby reds with the skins on.  However, if you are making traditional potato salad and have a WHOLE bag of potatoes to peel.  Here's how you can do it in less than a minute.

Ok, first thing I want to tell you is that the Pampered Chef simple slicer is an amazing product.  It works great, slices wonderfully, and now that I know how to use it, I'll probably use it every time.  Unfortunately, I didn't know how to use it the first time and took a chunk out of my thumb.

We carved pumpkins the other day and my wife bought a small tool kit full of saws, tiny blades, and other girly crap to do the job.   After our boy quickly lost interest in carving pumpkins and it was all left for me to do the carving, I pulled out the big gun:  My craftsman jigsaw.

I can't really speak for Moms on my Mother's Day gift suggestions, but on this holiday, I can speak for myself.  Here's some ideas, and I'm sure your Dad, or your kid's dad will like... 1.  Tools! Whenever my wife asks me what I want for a gift idea, I always say tools.  You can never have to many tools and it is a man's goal in life to acquire as many tools as he can before he dies.
