Theater

The Palace Theater opened in Superior Wisconsin back in 1917.  It operated as a theater until 1982, when it was then used as a church.  Not long later it became vacant.  The city took possession of it, and it ultimately was demolished in 2006.  This video tour was taken before it was demolished, and shows what the Palace Theater had become.

The Duluth Playhouse celebrated it's 100th anniversary and reading that made me remember the great memories I've had there.  My dad was an actor with the Duluth Playhouse and he wasted no time in getting my sisters and me involved at a young age with the children's theater.

I love acting!  It's so much fun to develop the personality of a character and make it your own.  Even better, to act in one of the Rubber Chicken Theater productions you will be working side by side and building friendships with other community members.  Step out of that bubble and consider trying out for "Motherhood Out Loud".

In its second week of release, strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews propelled ‘The Help’ past ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ to take the number one spot at the box office this weekend, while ‘Apes’ moved to the number two slot. ‘The Help’ earned $20.5 million, while ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ pulled in $16.3 million.
