The scams are never-ending these days.

The scam happens over text message with a clever reason for why the scammer can't get on the phone.

USPS reached out to city officials to help get the word out.

Something similar happened back in 2021.

There's a new text/e-mail scam that looks legit, but it is not. Banking officials are saying it will look real, all the logos will be on the email, but it will tell you to follow a link and log in quickly to take care of the problem. Once you follow the link, it will be on their server and ask for all kinds of information.

Saturday night I sent a text to Cathy asking about Harold's Flippin' Flapjack Fiasco.  We were going to go, and I wanted to see what time it started.  Turns out Cathy was at the VFW and unwinding after an already long weekend with a couple of Bacardis.   They must have been strong, because utter nonsense followed.
