It came as shocking news when I first heard that Dave Minor, President and CEO of the Superior Douglas Chamber of Commerce had taken a position with another community.  He has been a staple in the Superior community and while it's hard to see him go, I do want to see him continue to expand his horizons and bless others with his knowledge.  We met briefly to reminisce, find out what he'll be doing

It's sad that our local Chambers of Commerce work so hard to promote our local businesses and someone with fraudulent intentions comes along and tries to use them to unjustly gain monetarily.   That has happened to our Superior Douglas Chamber of Commerce and they want to warn local businesses.

I have been trying to keep up on all the scams in the Northland (can't believe how many there are) and I'm grateful when one I wasn't aware of is brought to my attention.  THIS time, I have a warning from the Superior Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce.  Read and be aware!

Unfortunately, it seems that I hear of a new way to be scammed on a daily basis.  We constantly have to have our guard up with everything we encounter.  This time, the warning is specifically for those living in Superior and Douglas County.

It's sad that a company is choosing to USE high schools to sell their products.  Many of the projects that our local high school students learn by hands on experience is funded by local businesses buying advertising and we don't want that to end because businesses owners are confused.  That makes it difficult for our young adults to go out and get advertising for legitimate needs.  The Superior Ch

The number of people in the Northland that need warm winter clothing is amazing.  You would be surprised to learn some of your own neighbors are in need.  Colder weather is inevitable and together we can make sure many are cared for.  The Superior Douglas County Convention and Visitors Bureau has created the Big Bundle Up to ensure this happens.

I want to share important information I received from the Superior Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.  While I do some banking on-line and email rather than write letters, I still need my postal service for a variety of reasons.  A  feasibility study was conducted and now it's time to show you the results.
