Ever since I bought the album 'Traveler,' I've loved the song 'Fire Away' from Chris Stapleton.   Last night he won Breakthough Artist of The Year for the music video at the CMT Awards.   This is the first time I've seen the video and it really moves you.

There are few celebrities that we allow into our hearts.  Robin Williams was one of them.  He felt like family, and we grieve his loss more than just another celebrity dying.  With it appearing that he took his own life, it makes it even more heartbreaking.  It's another sad instance where a comedian (and more) fought a battle his entire life under the surface.

Sadly, this news is not a shock.  Over the years Mindy McCready has been in the news for all the wrong reasons.  From her addictions to bizarre behavior, it was apparent that she needed serious help.  Unfortunately, she never found that help and has apparently taken her own life.

Just a sad, sad story. I talked about this on the air, but here's the whole story. We had to put our family dog Jenny down a few years ago and my Mom still isn't over it, so I can understand the feeling, but not the action. I was so moved by the picture I had to share the story...
