Yep, the kid knows football better than me. It was a simple question, "Who do you think will win the Superbowl, the Patriots or the Giants?"
His answer: "The Giants!" Why? "Because they are REALLY BIG GUYS." Imagine his disappointment when there weren't any actual giants playing the game, but just large men hitting each other...
I mentioned yesterday that having a son missing really puts something so trivial as a football game in perspective. So sad that this story ended in such tragedy for the family and Packers organization.
Yesterday, Michael T. Philbin, son of Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, was reported missing after last being heard from about 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
This really puts the game in perspective. Let's hope this story has a happy ending.
