Canal Park Brewing is celebrating a big win, they were just voted as the best Solar Craft Brewpub in the country.

The key words here are Solar Powered.  I have not had good luck with these solar powered car "toys".  The premise is the solar power it receives makes something on it move.  This is my third and on Saturday the wings of the butterfly melted so they wouldn't move anymore.  They melted!  How can that even happen, it's SOLAR powered!

If you happen to see a young lass in a metallic-textured bikini this summer, that doesn't necessarily mean she's trying to make a fashion statement. In fact, she might be using her beachwear to power up her cell phone.

There are Pros and Cons to this concept.  Of course, being from Northern MN, the thought of ice and snow on glass doesn't make sense; however, they say they can mold the glass into shapes that promote run-off.  A Con is that the roadway can light up, causing better night driving.  According to the Energy Eco-System of the Future, the Solar Roadways already have federal funding.
