It is almost time for most black bears to settle down and hibernate for the winter, but for one Duluth family, a bear has found a spot under their porch to nap for the winter.
Spring is here and I couldn't be more thrilled. It's FINALLY starting to warm up, and the temps could be in the 60s this weekend. So it will be wonderful to get outdoors, do some grilling, and enjoy the fresh air. But, there's also a problem that comes with this time of year, and I think a lot of parents can relate.
For months my husband and I have gotten out of bed and was sore, didn't feel rested and was becoming increasingly frustrated. We thought it was just "getting old" and I thought if this was the way it was going to be aging gracefully was going to be a challenge. Until we bought new pillows!
Smartphone use is disgustingly taking over our lives. As families, we sit on the couch staring at the phone in our lap, instead of conversing with each other. When you crawl into bed at night, often your companion is your smartphone. Not only can it take a toll on your relationships, but also your health!
When I saw the first photo on msn.com my reaction was "cute". As I saw more pics I knew I had to read Jessica Shyba's story of how this adorable little boy and a puppy named Theo became naptime buddies. Honestly, these pics will melt your heart.
I was making the bed the other day and noticed the above tag on the foot of the mattress. Well, it's July so obviously, I'm not complying with the suggestion of the manufacturer. I know my husband is diligent about flipping the mattress to the other side on a regular basis, but were unaware of the flip from head to foot. Are we the ONLY people that do this?
Years ago my step dad woke me up by blaring a recording of a real lion attacking at full volume in my bedroom. Needless to say that my reaction would bring him great joy every time he told the story to others for years after. I have to admit it was very funny, once I got my bearings, and that's why I appreciate all of these wake up pranks.
This isn't some kind of motivational speaking crap about how you can achieve your goals and blah blah blah. This is much simpler. It's how you can control your dreams while you are sleeping. Some people naturally can, but for most people you need to practice. Why control your dreams? Well you can do whatever you want in your dreams, and you can even turn scary dreams around.
