The Mall of America asked the US Supreme Court for help, here's their response.

The Mall of America continues to draw millions of visitors per year, with its incredible variety of shops and entertainment, but a large section of the mall remains empty due to a deal made before it was open.

Amazon is "in talks" with Simon Property Group to convert the large empty retail spaces into Amazon fulfillment centers. These empty stores would transform into warehouses that ship online orders.

The company announced the closing of 72 Sears and Kmart locations around the country, and two of those are here in Duluth.

It's been a rough start to the year for Sears and Kmart employees across the country who have been hit with announcements on store closings.  Now comes news that a total of 150 stores will close by the end of March.

You'd have to think that a man who works at a Sears in Sarasota, Florida was given the boot after he was caught stealing from the store. The Herald-Tribune reports the unidentified 18-year-old man stole a pair of boots from the store in the DeSoto Square Mall – and then wore them to work.
