My co-host Ken and I were discussing what a sandwich loaf was on air.  You don't see it served much anymore, but it use to be my favorite thing served at teas, showers and luncheons back in the day.  Shirley, a B105 listener and friend heard us and just so happen to be making a few sandwich loaves within the month and offered one to me.  I was THRILLED!  Ken was curious. What is a sandwich loaf? R

I recently tried the BK Italian Chicken Sandwich out after seeing it featured on their drive thru menu.  I like to try new things, and it looked appetizing.  It was crispy chicken, on a hoagie style bun, with melted mozzarella cheese, topped with marinara sauce.  This could be good!  So I dug in and used my scoring system to see how it turned out.

Doesn't this Taste of Home sandwich look cool?  Definitely unique and you'll be the one-upper in the crowd!

I've been in a real sandwich kick lately.  I've been trying new ones from different places and trying to expand my horizons.  One of the things that I've noticed is the kind of sandwiches that people order reflect their personality.  I'll show you what I mean: Roast Beef - You're a dude that believes meat is the most important part of a sandwich.  You're hardworking, hate cats.

It's ok to make a mess with THIS Taste of Home sandwich!  It's quick, it's tasty and it by the name, it leads you to believe there's hamburger or turkey meat in it, but there's not.  Make this Sloppy Joe BLT!
