If you're looking for a fun summer road trip, how about an adventurous outing to ride some of the best roller coasters in the region? There are a surprising number of world-class roller coasters less than a 7-hour drive from Duluth, with theme parks like Valleyfair, Nickelodeon Universe, Adventureland, Mt. Olympus, ...

Valleyfair, located in Shakopee, is Minnesota's largest theme park and it has an impressive roster of roller coasters, but it's been years since they've gone big with a new world-class coaster.

#Fury325, which debuts this spring at Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte, North Carolina, promises to be the worlds tallest and fastest giga roller coaster.  Earlier this month they did a a test run and, luck for us, they mounted a camera on the coaster.

Six Flags has announced the next step in extreme rides:  The 4D roller coaster.  Basically it's a roller coaster that also flips the riders so they will somersault their way through the ride.

There aren't many country artists who have been on a roll like Luke Bryan.  He was recently involved with two songs fighting to become #1 hits.  His single "Play It Again" made it to the top spot on the country singles chart, as did Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll" which featured Luke's vocals towards the end of the song. His new single is "Roller Coaster"

So, you think you're cool because you've got a Slip' N Slide in your backyard? Well, we hate to be bearers of bad news. This backyard has a roller coaster in it.

Is there a way to possibly fail a free fall jump?  Apparently yes.  The design of this is to jump roughly from 30 feet up and land on your butt on this giant airbag. Yep I screwed that part up and twisted my ankle.

I saw this and had to share.  The marine asks for a countdown for when the ride is going to take off.   Let's just say he didn't get what he expected!
