It's been an emotional week for the Minnesota Timberwolves since the death of their leader Flip Saunders.  Ready or not, their season got underway in Los Angeles against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.  Flip would have been proud of his young team.

The NBA Draft is Thursday night and for the first time in franchise history, the Minnesota Timberwolves have the first pick.

Even if you're not a basketball fan, chances are you've heard of Ricky Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves.  Basketball fans love to watch his great passes and hustle on defense, but this video shows why he is truly a favorite of fans of all ages.

The Minnesota Timberwolves fell the to the Los Angeles Clippers 101-96 Wednesday night, finishing their trip out west at 1-3.  Kevin Love is still playing into shape and as the 'Wolves struggle to get consistent point guard play, they received some great news in regards to star guard Ricky Rubio.
