Publishers Clearing House

The local police department in the area says they have received several calls about the scam in the span of just twenty-four hours.

Scammers are posing as claims managers from the Publishers Clearing House.

The scam in the story below is currently being attempted.  Also, if a man claiming to be Ed McMahon knocks on your door holding a bouquet of balloons and a big check, don't  open it.  Ed McMahon died in 2009.   The Duluth Police Department is warning residents about an on-going Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes scam.
