This time every year, all kinds of pumpkin flavored food and beverages hit the shelves.  As I walked into Target today, I was hit was a full display of pumpkin food which lead me to believe this year there will be more than ever.  That being said, I couldn't resist trying two new pumpkin spice flavored offerings.

Recently while shopping, the new Lay's Potato Chip flavor caught my eye and I just had to give it a try.  I usually do try the new flavors because they sound good and most of the time I am disappointed.  This time, not so much.

It's that time of the year when the colder weather makes your skin dry and reptilian.  It's frustrating because no matter how much I lotion, I'm still dry.  There's a new way to lotion IN the shower by Nivea and I am so desperate to be soft and supple again, I tried it.  Here's my review:

I stop in to our neighbors at the BP once in a while in the morning to get something to drink or a snack and I saw this display for a "Superband" that would keep the bugs off your kids, they were only $1.79, how bad could they be. So, I had the kids wear them and here's what they had to say.

I first fell in love with the Kind Nut & Spices Bar, there's lots of different flavors, but my favorite is the Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt.  There's only 5 grams of sugar, 7 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein and it tastes great!  But, I could only buy them individually.  I wanted to buy a box full.  Then, I saw these, KIND Healthy Grains and they are scrumptious!  I give this two thumbs

I've been keeping my eye out for a good deal on a portable ice house for a while.  This last weekend provided me a chance to get to see some ice houses first hand at the Ice Fishing Show at the DECC.  After looking around, and weighing options and price, I purchased a Fatfish 949.

So as many of you know, I've been frantically trying to paint my house before the snow flies.   This last weekend I decided I needed to spend a few bucks and hopefully make the job quicker with a power painter.  I was hesitant because I remember when these first came out 15 or so years ago that they weren't exactly reliable.  Have they improved?
