One lucky Minnesotan is about to be a whole lot richer after purchasing the winning ticket at a Minit Mart this past Saturday.

There's a lot of buzz right now about the Minnesota Lottery, as we have a $1 million dollar winning ticket sold in Duluth.  (Still waiting for the winner to turn it in.)   People have been talking about what they would do if they won the lottery, and you inevitably get to the question of "Would you quit your job?"  For a million, that's probably not enough.  But what about $5 Million?  T

Early on Monday we were alerted to some exciting news, a Minnesota State Lottery Power Ball ticket matched all 5 numbers and the power number!  To add to that excitement, we found out that it was sold at the Holiday Gas Station at 5430 Grand Avenue in Duluth.  Dang, that's close to my house, it could be someone I know!!!  Have you ever thought about what you should do if you won the power ball?  S

Bad News, you didn't win the $900 million dollar Powerball jackpot on Saturday night.  Good news, NO ONE DID!  At the time I am writing this blog, they estimate the jackpot for this Wednesday to be 1.4 billion dollars, the largest EVER, but the number could grow even larger.  Are you in?

Here we go again! No one matched the Powerball numbers last Wednesday so this Saturday we are looking to match the five white balls and one red Powerball to win $700 million dollars. Are you in?

You're odds are 1 in 292 million, but totally worth taking the chance!  The Powerball grand prize is at $450 million for tonight's drawing.  Are you in?

We're lucky living in the Northland, we can play both the Minnesota and the Wisconsin lottery.  I don't usually play the lottery, but I did last Saturday in Minnesota.  Didn't really have a clue but was told to ask for a quick pick.  May have to do the same today with Wisconsin's since it's the third highest jackpot in the game's history!

B Raymond Buxton came forward on April Fools day to claim his $425 million dollar prize. He asked that the media leave him alone, that the public leave him alone, and that he is allowed to live in private. Is that acceptable in today's society?

The Powerball had three winners, and one of them happens to be from Anoka County in Minnesota.

It's a HUGE powerball jackpot now at a record 500 million dollars.  What would you do if you won?  Would you still keep your current job, or would you quit it like a bad habit?  Cathy and I have different views.
