power outage

If you are affected by the Lake Country Power outage, crews are working to restore service to all customers involved in more than 30 different power outages throughout its service areas.

The storms last night caused a lot of problems throughout the Northland last night, including knocking out power right here at the radio station.  While most have returned to life as usual, those who have not will hopefully get there soon. Lake Country Power line crews continue to make progress as they work to restore electric service following last night's severe thunderstorms.

Last night about 3700 Superior residents lost power at about 8:30pm.  According to WDIO the Winter Street Substation went down causing the north part of Superior to go dark.  It really wasn't a big deal as the power was back on in an hour, but it did cause some commotion at our house...
