Congratulations to the 80th Miss Minnesota, Rachel Latuff. For some in the Northland, her name may sound familiar. That's because she graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. According to Pageantsnews.com she graduated in 2013 with Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors and now is a secondary arts teacher at a twin cities school.
Ken and I had the honor of interviewing Natalie Davis, Miss Minnesota 2011. In the interview she explains why the Miss America Pageant is so much more than a beauty contest and what is next on the pageant circuit for her. I wish I had more time to ask human interest, behind the pageant scenes, maybe next time we interview her, after she is crowned Miss America!
I had the honor of emceeing the first ever, Miss Brickyard Pageant in Wrenshall last night. I am proud to introduce the 2011 Miss Brickyard and Princess.
