A project to repair the deteriorating highway and river embankments will cause lane closures beginning in the fall of 2024. Improvements will also be made to residential areas.

I really like what drones are able to do and I'm becoming a big fan of them.  While being used correctly, they can give you some beautiful views of our Northland we wouldn't see otherwise.   YouTube user 'The Frozen Photog' has shared this cool video taken this week above the Oliver Bridge near Oliver, WI.

There will be a long daily closure from 8am-5pm on weekdays for the Oliver Bridge that connects the communities of Oliver and Gary New Duluth.  Beginning on April 27th, motorists will have to take alternate routes to cross over to Minnesota, such as the Bong Bridge or Blatnik Bridge.

The Oliver Bridge located between Oliver and Gary New Duluth will be closed during the day on September 24th.  The closure is due to a  routine scheduled maintenance inspection.
