If your company doesn't have a policy on open-toe footwear, is this okay?

In just a couple of weeks, I will have been working here for 10 years.  That's not something many people do anymore:  work in the same job for 10 years.  When I started back in 2007, I started saving our company directory sheets.

I couldn't find my B105 jacket this morning, and I asked Cathy if I'd seen it.  She made some remarks about how messy my office is and that it's probably behind the door in a pile of clothes.  Well I've kept a pretty clean office for some time now, and thought I would do a comparison of our two offices and let you be the judge.

When I first moved into my office a while ago, I got a lot of grief about the bare walls and lack of decor.  (They should have seen some of my first apartments.)  Slowly I started receiving gifts from people, and apparently everyone thinks I'm a nerd.

For the last several days, my lights have been flickering in my office.  Well today, they finally gave out.  I'm not sure why we have fluorescent light bulbs and ballasts that go out periodically.
