Some of the nominees made me scratch my head, as did some shocking exclusions.

Do you know someone that deserves recognition?  The American Red Cross is asking for nominations of people that  have performed extraordinary acts to save lives.  To often we don't take the time to thank these individuals, and sometimes, a mere  "thank you" doesn't seem like enough.  Take a minute of your day and make a difference in a life that made a difference by saving another.
