Residents in the area have reported phone calls from people posing as the power company.

The company announced this week that they hope to lower rates and issue about $12 million dollars in refunds to its customers.

The City of Duluth held a press conference in conjunction with hospital and service organization leaders on Monday morning to update the community on response measures from several different angles related to COVID-19.

For Minnesota Power customers get prepared for a rate increase starting next month.

Power outages being caused by the strong winds and heavy snow from this weekend's storm are leaving people in the dark.

Powerful winds are leading to power outages around the region, with thousands of customers being impacted Monday afternoon.

The company issued a press release warning their customers in the Northland.

This outage is impacting an estimated 1,810 customers in these areas.

Crews are working to restore power in parts of Lincoln Park, Denfeld and Orr.

Minnesota Power took to their Facebook page this week with the hope of finding the perfect Christmas tree to feature in Duluth. Perhaps you have just the tree they need.

The Christmas season will be in full swing in the Northland before we know it, and Minnesota Power wants to make sure it's as beautiful as ever by finding the perfect Community Christmas Tree.  As in past years, it will be placed at the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street in Downtown Duluth.

Minnesota Power's crews continue to work hard to restore power to the tens of thousands of those left in the dark after Thursday morning's storms.
