Today I went out of my comfort zone and tried a new place to eat, Qdoba. It's a Mexican restaurant, and one recently opened up on Woodland Avenue. I went along with my co-host Cathy who acted as my guide to this new place. It's helpful to have someone along that's been there before so you don't look like a noob.
The weather isn't the only thing that's going to be HOT this Memorial Day weekend if you make these mouth watering burgers from Taste of Home. The beauty is that after you make the burgers your job is done. Your family and guests take over and dress them up the way they want.
Add this to the list of strange headlines that I never thought I'd write, but I just needed to share this story with you. My wife and I finally had a date night for the first time in several weeks. I had a craving for Mexican food, but what we got was a course of disappointment, with a side of bizarre.
Delicious! For those of you that don't know, I do the cooking in our house. The main reason is our work schedules allow me to be home earlier and cook so we have dinner at a decent time. I'm also a pretty good cook. The biggest problem isn't cooking dinner, it's what do you make for dinner! It's easy to fall in the same old rut. This recipe, will spice things up for you, and it's so simple.
