Jason Aldean announced today that out of respect to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting, he is cancelling the next three stops of his They Don't Know Tour.

I saw this article at Business Insider that talked about how this phone had picked the World Cup Soccer pretty accurately was now doing football. That got my attention, so I wanted to see how it was doing. It's been doing well, till last week, it was 5-8. Many upsets though, you can't blame it!!

Farley's Family Restaurant has proven to be a favorite of the Northland by taking top honors in our Pizza and Wing Showdown held May 8 at UMD's Kirby Ballroom.  They took  #1 in the Pizza Division two years in a row and 2nd place in the Wing Division.  We were excited to taste what delectable dish they were going to come up with for Bacon Palooza and they did it again, taking home the trophy voted

It's fitting that Duck Dynasty Stars Willie and his wife Korie will be part of Country Music's biggest part of the year.

Cops diverted traffic as a stampede of horses made their way to Caesar's Palace, with Shania Twain at the front.  At least that's what the promoters called it, a stampede, in reality it was rather calm.  Shania Twain's hits blared as she made her grand entrance to kick off her performances at Caesar's Palace.  Her first show is December 1st.

First Garth Brooks, then Shania Twain and now Tim McGraw & Faith Hill.  Las Vegas has definitely gone country!  Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have announced that beginning December 7th, and running through April of next year, they will take up residency at The Venetian Las Vegas.  The will co-headline an all new version of their Soul2Soul tour at The Venetian.

She's B A C K!  Or, at least she will be in December. The talented, beautiful Shania Twain. After dealing with heartbreak (her best friend cheated with her husband) and sorting out her life (she ended up marrying the cheating best friends husband).  Did you follow that? She is set to start performing in Vegas.

It sounds like country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill might be taking a hiatus from their home in Nashville to spend a few months playing the strip in Sin City. Last week, the Las Vegas Sun reported that the country music power couple are close to signing a deal to play a series of weekend concerts from October 2012 through April 2013.

At the beginning of last year, news sources started reporting that Shania Twain was going the Celine Dion route and planning for a residency show on the Las Vegas strip. Now, more than a year later, the ‘Any Man of Mine’ singer is in pre-production for the show, according to CBS Las Vegas.

It was a great turnout at Players Sports Bar in Duluth Wednesday evening and when it was all said and done, Jamie Appleby had the winning ticket.  Jamie was very excited, he even dropped his pants in celebration.  He and his wife are packing their bags for 3 nights in Las Vegas where they'll enjoy a NASCAR weekend...

Absolutely horrible news out of Las Vegas today as popular driver Dan Wheldon lost his life in a multi-car crash.   Dan Wheldon, the 2011 Indianapolis 500 winner and one of the most popular drivers in open-wheel racing, died Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in a horrific multi-car crash only 11 laps into the IndyCar Series season finale.
