Remember when you were a kid and you couldn't wait to grow up?  Getting older meant more freedom, and exciting new things.  Then one day that changes.  You start hoping time will slow down and the Birthdays keep coming faster and faster each year.   That's what today 31 feels like.  I blinked, and a year went by,  but then again a lot happened.

This is probably the nicest gift I've received from Cathy.  Much better than the cajun peanuts that made me sick that one year.

Earlier today, Ken was bragging about how he was leaving work early today as he gets ready to depart for a weekend adventure. We aren't really sure what he's up to, but he did accidentally leave his packing list in the studio. Any guesses?

Doesn't David Drew's mouth look like that of a muppet?  So, Ken had this morning off because the Country Fest Express didn't roll in until 4am.  Chris and I talked about the pics they were sharing on the B105 fb page (are YOU a fb friend?) and we got calls to get em' up on our webpage, SO you asked for it!

While doing some spring cleaning in the storage room at the radio station, a priceless old video of the B105 staff was discovered. From the sound of it, this was an old promotional video for a TV series that David Drew and Cathy Kates were co-producing for air in the Twin Ports -- unfortunately, the show never got off the ground.

Ken Hayes and Cathy Kates, the B105 Breakfast Club, have been together longer than any other morning show in the Northland.  To celebrate that as well as their tremendous success, they will soon grace billboards across the the area. Here is a sneak peek at the billboard campaign, taken by one the top photographers in the United States.

Honestly, this is one of the BEST inventions EVER for people that have spiky hair!  With the temps so cold and colder this coming on Monday, I'm thrilled to have my 180's. B105 THINGS 5.  From the medical community: While cold and flu medicine may make you feel better, there is a down side...

When I first started my 12 days Of Christmas Music, Ken Hayes asked me if I'd play Kellie Pickler.  He then asked every single day why I hadn't picked Pickler yet.  Finally, on Friday, he told me if she wasn't on our website by Monday morning he'd show up for work Monday dressed just like her in this video.

The head lice notification procedure in Duluth used be that parents were notified when 3 cases of head lice were found in a classroom, but that is going to change after a request by the Duluth Parent Teacher Student Association.
