Often times I dedicate one of the several Solid Gold Saturday Show songs to my OTR drivers.  God bless em'!  It's a job that is physically and emotionally demanding, but without them our store shelves would be bare and we wouldn't get our mail in a timely fashion, among other things.  It's an important job and if you're in need of a job, Halvor Lines is hiring.

Once again this year, Halvor Lines is honoring veterans by painting one of their trucks, and participating in the Wreaths Across America.   The program has companies donate their time and trucks to transport wreaths to Veteran's National Cemeteries.

Hats off to Halvor Lines and their employees for losing a combined total of over 2100 pounds in the last year.  The Superior, Wisconsin trucking company celebrated the achievement with a 5k this week.
