The DNR announced that the confiscated hunting and fishing equipment will be going up for sale during an auction on Saturday, April 28th in Zimmerman, MN.  All of the items were confiscated for serious game violations.  It includes over 309 working firearms.

I'll have to admit, I've gotten  caught up with all these doomsday shows like "Doomsday Preppers," "Doomsday Bunkers," etc.   The other night the final straw was when I watched on NatGeo Tv's When Aliens Attack.  It was a show that was about what would happen if we were attacked by aliens...

It doesn't matter if you plan to hunt or not. firearm safety is always important.   Gain knowledge of how a gun works and the safest way to handle it by taking these DNR Hunter Education Classes.  You know you'll need it come Fall, take care of it now.

Unfortunately, vehicle prowlers are taking advantage of Northland firearm hunters.  They know that the upcoming Deer Hunting season will have people bringing their firearms  in to be cleaned or transported to their hunting shack.  Here's a warning from the Duluth Police Department.
