Jona Rechnitz bet $1,000 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas that the first score of the game would be a Giants safety...

Yep, the kid knows football better than me.  It was a simple question, "Who do you think will win the Superbowl, the Patriots or the Giants?" His answer:  "The Giants!"  Why? "Because they are REALLY BIG GUYS." Imagine his disappointment when there weren't any actual giants playing the game, but just large men hitting each other...

They kept showing the video  of the home plate collision that caused Buster Posey to fracture his left leg on TV last night....I felt terrible for him...he was in such pain and most likely won't return for the rest of the season.  Here's a video that shows the point of injury.
