geography

I'm not offended if someone calls me a redneck, especially when it comes to this guy's criteria.  I shop at Walmart.  I hunt and fish.  I drive a truck.  I guess that makes me a redneck, but at least I can tell the general region of these towns on a map.

Our map system that we learned in school was flawed.  These size comparisons are insane.  Wait until you see the comparison between Australia and Brazil!

In an ongoing attempt to teach Cathy vital geography, we practiced this morning with flashcards.  It was simple, she needed to identify the state or region.   Or, at least it was supposed to be simple.
