Cathy remembers the one in Cloquet, and not long ago there was one in Two Harbors. Some of the Pamida's were bought out by Shopko, but there are still some out there.

Thursday started a scary chain of events for the city of Ely as a fire erupted nearby around 1:30pm. It appears that the fire started due to a spark from a downed power line. There was anticipation that an evacuation in Ely may be coming, but there is some good news on that front.
