With the next Primary Election Day set for next Tuesday, August 9th, the City of Duluth wants residents to be aware of changes to precinct boundaries that will have an impact on some Duluth voters.

Early voting options began on September 18, including voting early in person and voting by mail, with a ballot that you can track anytime to assure it is received and counted.

At the end of last month we encouraged you to register if you wanted to vote early.  The City of Duluth is saying if you haven't registered yet and wish to vote early you can show up with something that will verify your proof of residency.  Here's the schedule.

2016 is a major election year and voter turnout could play a major factor in determining who wins races right up to the President Of The United States.  Over the years there have been various accusations made regarding different aspects of the voting process, so I think this new Wisconsin voter I.D. requirement is definitely a good idea.
