Northeast Clean Energy Resource Team (NE CERT) is hosting a free tour Friday, June 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm starting at the Business Office of Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC), to learn more about clean energy innovations in Duluth. This event is free and open to the public.

There are Pros and Cons to this concept.  Of course, being from Northern MN, the thought of ice and snow on glass doesn't make sense; however, they say they can mold the glass into shapes that promote run-off.  A Con is that the roadway can light up, causing better night driving.  According to the Energy Eco-System of the Future, the Solar Roadways already have federal funding.
