Some people apparently have no conscience. Bayley, a high school student at Denfeld High School, took part in a high school art show at Miller Hill Mall on March 20. During the course of the show, Bayley's piece was stolen.
I'm shocked that it took THIS long to be called out in the popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. But it finally happened, the Denfeld Cheer Team called their coaches out and we had to step up. After practice we filled buckets with ice and cold water and took the challenge. Watch and find out who we nominated!

Congratulations to this week's Service Learning Northland award winner Ann Kucinski! Ann is a Spanish teacher at Denfeld, who is having her class become pen pals with Spanish speaking students in a Chicago school. The money will be used to purchase books written in Spanish for the students to read.
Cathy and I went to deliver the check today and found out that it was MCA testing day. Oops. Timing could have been better. (See the look on Cathy's face.)
