There is a steady wind and with the weather in a flux, the Duluth Fire Department has issued a RED FLAG WARNING.

With the way the weather has been acting and the winds on the lake, the Duluth Fire Department has issued a RED FLAG WARNING for June 29th.

Again today we have some lake wind. After some rescues and deaths, due to high winds and choppy lake conditions,  the Duluth Fire Department issued a Red Flag warning for swimming. Flag locations are listed within. This warning is effective immediately for today August 14th.
