In last weeks victory over the Chicago Bears, Viking's quarterback Christian Ponder suffered a concussion.  There will be no drama as to who will start this Sunday against Baltimore.

In what could be one of the sloppiest games in the Minnesota / Green Bay rivalry, the Minnesota Vikings have decided to stick with Christian Ponder.  Please keep your cheering to a minimum.

It was announced in today's Minnesota Vikings press conference that Josh Freeman suffered a concussion, making it likely Christian Ponder could be starting Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers.

It's not a shock, but it is now official.  The Minnesota Vikings will have their third starting quarterback in 6 games when Josh Freeman goes under center Monday night against the New York Giants.

Last season Christian Ponder was showing signs of becoming the Quarterback that we drafted him to be. Won the last 4 games, looked sharp. Heck, the Vikings looked like they could beat anyone. In hindsight, it might have been prophetic that he couldn't finish the job when the Vikings made the playoffs.
