Someone broke into the complex causing damage and stealing money.

They are wanted in relation to a theft incident.

The 11th annual Carlton County Suicide Awareness walk will take place this Saturday, October 12th.

The United Way of Carlton County is hosting an Operation Community Connect Resource Fair in Cloquet. This is a great opportunity to show the community the resources that are available.

This Thanksgiving the Carlton County Disabled Veterans and Auxiliary will once again be hosting a free Thanksgiving meal at the Zion Lutheran Church. The sit down meal will be served from 11-2pm.

The rainy weather for Harold’s Golf Fiasco this year didn't cooperate but that didn't stop Harold, his family, the amazing volunteers or the golfers from having a day of laughter and fun.  The event was still on course to be another record breaking day!  I thought last year was a historic amount, but coupled with the Harold's Flippin' Pancake Fiasco the total this year is a astounding $24,000!!!!

We got a lot of rain and wet snow in this week's snowstorm.   Because of that, a flood advisory has been issued for the St. Louis River in the Scanlon area, as it is expected to reach 10.9 feet, which is slightly higher than the flood stage of 10.5.  Minor flooding could occur.

Flooding from our recent Spring snrain (snow+rain) storm has caused phone issues in Carlton County.  They have determined the issue is a break in a fiber optic line.  Repairable?  Yes, however, at this time the area that needs to be repaired is underwater and that's compounding the problem.  Crews are working on the situation.
