I honestly don't know how anyone can steal a bunch of quarters, isn't that heavy?  Not to mention the fact that now they are faced with spending them in machines or risk getting caught trying to cash them in.  If you know or learn of information to this burglary, it could mean a reward, here's the skinny.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Department is searching for this individual involved in a burglary case.  They took to social media on Facebook and posted these photos hoping someone could identify this man.

Congrats and thank you to the Duluth Police Department.  The suspect they apprehended had an extensive criminal history.  He had been convicted on two counts of felony theft of a motor vehicle, other multiple thefts, and traffic violations.  But he is in custody now after trying to steal from the Northland Country Club.

Sadly, with warmer weather comes increased crime in the  Northland.  Burglars take advantage of warmer temps to walk around later at night, looking for an opportunity to steal.  With this increase in crime, what can homeowners do to help prevent being targeted?

Crime continues in the Northland and no community is immune.  This time it was the City of Proctor.  The Proctor Police Department wants to talk with you if you have information about the break-in at the Proctor Ice Arena.

The Duluth Police Department is using the information of this apprehension as a reminder to residents that there are ways to avoid being burglarized.  They also commend the neighbor who made the 911 call and continued to gather information that helped lead to the arrest.

I had received this information from the Cloquet Police Department to share on social media and I hope you do the same.  Passing this information on to as many people as possible will help to apprehend the unidentified man who broke into an ATM in Cloquet.  Have you seen him, know him or know of his whereabouts?
