I've been enjoying 'Better Call Saul' since it started last year.  However, there was something missing.  I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was just missing an element that 'Breaking Bad' has.  It wasn't the acting, the story line was good enough, but the recipe wasn't just right yet.  The most recent episode finally found that missing ingredient, and now the show is cooking.

Bryan Cranston of 'Breaking Bad' fame opened up to James Lipton during last weeks Inside the Actors Studio.   From a broken home, to discovering acting while in school to be a police officer, we learn a lot about the talented actor.

Breaking Bad successfully turned Mr. Chips into Scarface, but did you know that AMC wanted Matthew Broderick or John Cusack for the role of Walter White? Or that Jesse was supposed to die in Season 1? These are just some of the crystal blue persuasions from the thirteenth episode of ‘You Think You Know TV?,’ which cooks up a new batch for AMC’s Breaking Bad!

I was excited to see last night's episode because I hoped it would give us some insight into who Mike WAS.  For such a straight shooting guy, we always wondered what caused him to "Break Bad."  In 'Breaking Bad' he was Gus Fring's right hand man, and a sometimes accomplice to Saul's shady business.   So what was his story?  We found out last night.

A lot of fans were worried that 'Better Call Saul' would taint Breaking Bad's legacy as one of the best shows ever.  Critics were worried it would be a cheap sell out prequel.  After the premiere Sunday, much of those fears were calmed.  Now after the second episode, the verdict is in:  We've got another hit series.

‘Breaking Bad’ may be completely, definitively over, but that doesn’t mean Walter White is ready to leave popular culture alone. Oh, no. As long as Bryan Cranston is alive and as lone as insurance companies are prepared to back dump trucks full of cash up this house, we’ll get to see America’s favorite meth dealer pop up every so often. So while it’s weird to se Cranston play Heisenberg one more time in an Esurance commercial, it’s not that surprising.

If you're like me, you've probably been waiting for the next great TV series to hit the air.   Here's hoping Better Call Saul is even half as good as Breaking Bad.   From the looks of this next sneak peek that AMC has given us, there looks to be plenty of drama.

During last night's mid season finale of The Walking Dead, we got a sneak peek of Breaking Bad's spin off "Better Call Saul."  There's a few things we can hypothesize after the clip about what we can expect.

Fans of Breaking Bad have been anxiously awaiting the spin off "Better Call Saul."  The show starring Bob Odenkirk is set to debut in February, but it already has it's own song.  The song "Better Call Saul" is written by show creators Vince Gillighan and Peter Gould.  It's pretty good stuff, and contains some sneak previews of the season too!
