Breakfast

Yesterday the Kwik Trip store on Banks in Superior opened up.  Finally a convenience store that's open when I get up in the morning with hot food!  Today I stopped in on my way to work to get some breakfast.  This would be my first time trying their breakfast sandwich combo.  And let me tell you, I've eaten a lot of gas station sandwiches, so I like to think of myself as an expert.

I grabbed a Slim Jim for breakfast today, and had some difficulty with the wrapper.  Cathy decided to capture it on video after it was apparent this was going to be an epic fail.

For some time now, I've thought about purchasing a Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowl to bring to work.  In the morning, I don't really have a lot of time, and I end up eating while I'm working.  I thought this might be a quick easy meal for breakfast.  It's microwavable, under $2, and it can stay in the freezer for a long time.  But, I was always a little hesitant that it would be any good.

I have a friend who has a chicken coop just outside of town.  Recently, their family took a vacation and he asked me to look after his chickens.  The tradeoff was I got to keep all the eggs that were laid while they were gone.  I had never had a farm fresh egg before, and I immediately noticed a difference in taste.  But would others?   I did a little experiment.
