People Magazine's October edition has named Duluth Grill as Minnesota's Best Breakfast Restaurant.

In breakfast sandwich folklore, 2003 was the equivalent of man walking on the moon. That year, McDonalds introduced the McGriddle, which replaced bread or a muffin with maple flavored pancakes so delicious, many suspected Satan himself was behind it.

The folks over at Harold's Fiasco have their annual pancake breakfast planned for this Sunday in Carlton.  Proceeds & donations benefit the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. What makes this different than other pancake breakfasts?  ...

The Kitchen' in Superior doesn't look like much when you drive by.  It's an old building in the industrial area of North End Superior.  But when you do drive by you see a packed parking lot everyday they are open.  The reason is simple.  It's fantastic food.  And a couple breakfasts ago, I tried my new favorite breakfast of all time:  The hash brown omelet.

As if Santa wasn't busy enough, 45 years ago he had a meeting with The Port of Duluth Kiwanis Club and decided to make breakfast with Northland families a tradition.  That tradition continues this Saturday, December 10 at the First United Methodist Church (the Coppertop),  230 E Skyline Pkwy in Duluth.

Cathy today shared the list of the all time greatest cereals, and Quisp was number 1.  I've never heard of Quisp, but Cathy has.  Here's a classic commercial to jog your memory.

After running one morning my husband asked where we should go for breakfast.  As we discussed the topic and couldn't decide we realized there was lots of area restaurants that have darn good breakfast food.  After all, it's the most important meal of the day, right?  Here's where we were discussing to go, but I realize this is a partial list of favorites, can you add to the list?

Appetizers? No problem.  Elegant dinner?  No problem.  Extravagant dessert?  You're on it like a puma.  But, it's always a challenge to be consistent in the culinary department when it comes to serving breakfast to overnight guests.  Here's one from Taste of Home that will allow you to sleep in and still knock their socks off!

Of course Santa has had the Christmas City of the North Parade on his calendar for months.  He looks forward to it every year!  This year he's sticking around in the Northland to have breakfast with you and your family!

I work so early in the morning that there are sometimes ZERO options for getting a quick breakfast to go.  So from time to time I try to buy some frozen sandwiches I can keep at work to heat up.
