boo at the zoo

This is something the whole family can agree on (or maybe not)! The name of the new baby Colobus Monkeys at Lake Superior Zoo. This is part of the much anticipated “Boo at the Zoo” coming up this Saturday, October 12 and next Saturday, the 19th. Guests are invited to help name the two baby Angolan colobus monkeys that were born this summer at the zoo.

It's that time of year again, kids love it, parents not so much because they have to come up with another custom their kids will LOVE and pass the safe-to-wear factor.  At least parents can feel comfortable that there is a safe SUPER fun place to trick or treat, at the Lake Superior Zoo's Boo at the Zoo!  Hurry, it's coming soon!

Congratulations to the Lake Superior Zoo employees, board members and the community.  After five years without accreditation status and hours and days of hard work and dedication, our City's Zoo has achieved AZA accreditation! What does that mean?
