I had no idea this was even a thing, but there is a "dead bird reporting" hotline in Wisconsin. It's to help monitor West Nile Virus, so the state will actually test the bird to see if it has the disease. DO NOT TOUCH THE DEAD BIRD WITH YOUR BARE HANDS.
The breeding season of a turkey vulture starts in March and continues into June. One local turkey vulture decided our garage looked alluring and ended up injuring itself to the point it couldn't fly. To be honest, I have never cooked a full turkey. I've cooked a turducken, ONCE, which is a chicken stuffed in a duck, stuffed in a turkey. It's oven-baked for hours on a low temperature. It took forever and STILL wasn't done, we ended up microwaving it!!!!
