'Anchorman 2' recently had a premiere in Sydney, Australia and the cast gave the the audience a little treat.

It'll be at least a month before Ron Burgundy graces our lives with the long-awaited sequel 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,' but 'Conan' watchers needn't wait so long. The mustachioed one himself took over the show Wednesday night to preview his new book, give thoughts on ugly babies and spearhead the reelection campaign for infamous Toronto mayor Rob Ford!

We've seen some odd product placement/endorsement deals in our time, but this one just might take the cake. With a slogan that reads, "Give your little Anchorman the support he needs," 'Anchorman 2' and Jockey have teamed up for a series of Ron Burgundy-inspired tighty-whiteys. Except they're not white and come in colors like "Sex Panther Red" and "Beard of Zeus Blue."

In an inspired bit of cross-promotion, Will Ferrell has gotten into character as Ron Burgundy to sell the new 2014 Dodge Durango. With his trademark absurd wit and charm, Burgundy promotes both the upcoming 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' and the shiny new Dodge vehicle in a series of commercials that make us wish that Ron Burgundy would star in every TV ad.

Ron Burgundy is back in 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,' and -- as we're informed -- more Burgundy-er than ever. And now there's a new trailer that shows the news team in full force.

Has it really been nine years since Will Ferrell introduced audiences to the legendary Ron Burgundy with 'Anchorman'? Has it really taken Ferrell and co-writer/director Adam McKay almost a decade to put together a follow-up to the best comedy of the '00s...

Though they're still working on script, and should start filming shortly  - even after releasing a teaser this summer - we only have a small inkling of what's in store for us when 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' hits theaters next year. But now the picture has a release date, and it means only one thing: Will Ferrell is gunning for an Oscar.

Though 'Anchorman 2' isn't due out until sometime next year, and shooting has yet to commence, the script is being worked on and writer/director Adam McKay was out promoting something else when the sequel came up. He dropped some nuggets about the film, including that it's likely to have at least one musical number.

Looks like it could be legit!  According to this bootleg copy coming from youtube, Anchorman 2 should hit theaters next year!  Watch the video, and have a laugh.  It looks to be good!
